Compatible controllers and adapters that have been tested with Vectorlink
8BitDo Arcade Stick
This is my favorite joystick for the Vectorlink, and very easy to mod with better parts. Check out the Vectorlink Arcade Stick Mod Guide.

8BitDo Lite
This is a great controller with two different style fully functional d-pads. The d-pad is actually a bit clicky, and light to the touch still as well. It's kind of refreshing! The buttons are fairly close together making it easy to press all of the right buttons with your thumb. But if you want even more control you can use the shoulder buttons as well!

8BitDo Zero2
A super tiny wireless controller for your Vectrex! Yes it's kind of a novelty, but it's fun :D

8BitDo SNES 2.4G Wireless
8BitDo also makes a SNES Classic controller that is super well made and comes with it's own 2.4GHz RF dongle that will plug into the Vectorlink just like the BT dongle. This one doesn't require pairing and works as soon as you turn it on and it's rechargeable just like all other 8BitDo controllers.

8BitDo SN30 Pro Wireless
This 8BitDo SNES style controller also had thumbsticks. Even though you can only run it in digital mode with the Vectorlink, it's a very nice option if you can't get one of the other SNES controllers. Or if you just really prefer this one. This one pairs quickly with the Vectorlink BT dongle, and it's rechargeable just like all other 8BitDo controllers.

Hori Fighting Commander
If you can't get the 8BitDo SNES style 2.4GHz controller, I think this Hori Fighting Commander is quite possibly the best 6-button controller for the Vectorlink, and it's officially licensed by Nintendo. It also has two shoulder buttons. The buttons have a good feel, not too firm, not to sloppy... just right! The d-pad is one of the lightest of the bunch. Good for long gaming sessions. This one takes 2x AA batteries.

8BitDo Pro2
A blacked out wireless SNES controller for the Vectrex! What could be better? Please note: since this is wireless, the thumbsticks are digital and left one only for Vectorlink. But you can also use this controller with your computer or smartphone.

|
Nintendo SNES Controller
You can't go wrong with the official SNES controller from Nintendo! This one pairs with the included BT Dongle that comes with Vectorlink.

Railay 2-Pack Wireless Gamepad for NES Classic Edition
Usually I stay away from the super cheap controllers because I fear the buttons will stink, but this one is actually pretty dang good! The d-pad is probably one of the stiffest, but it's still good for $5! There are 4 individual buttons, although they are not in a diamond pattern. You get TWO for $10! The only time you can beat it is when it was on sale for $6! Also, it takes 3x AAA batteries.

Nintendo Joy-Con 2-Pack
So you wanna play twin stick games wirelessly? Got 2 Vectorlinks?? Get these and the plastic controller base that links them together and you'll be stylin'

Mayflash PS2 Controller Adapter for Wii
This will allow you to plug your wired PS2 controller directly into the Vectorlink and have analog support. You can also use it wireless in digital mode if you connect it to a Wiimote and pair that with the Vectorlink BT Dongle.

Wii Classic Pro (wired / analog)
This is probably my favorite controller you can buy for analog games on the Vectrex at the moment. You can select which one of the sticks you want to use, but both cannot be used at the same time. The sticks also have no deadband/deadzone, which is a very very good thing! This means they are continuously sensitive through the center region.
